08/18/2025PAN-PCN-20250806-2 - Removal of Mil-Spec Class 2. Effective August 18, 2025, Panduit will no longer support or maintain compliance with the Mil-Spec Class 2 classification for any products previously designated under this specification. As a result, all affected part numbers that were once qualified under Class 2 will no longer carry this classification moving forward. This decision follows a governing bodies shift away from the current method for approving Mil-Spec Class 2 terminals. In alignment with this transition, and to streamline our product offering and testing protocols, Panduit will sunset support for this classification. A new standard for Class 2 is being developed by the governing bodies. Panduit will evaluate requirements for meeting the updated standard after completion by the governing bodies.
