- You will be responsible for maintaining company intranet and external websites.
- You will be assisting in the planned migration from classic ASP & VBScript to LAMP.
| | Qualifications | - VBScript / Classic ASP - Our internal and external web sites are written in VBScript/ASP on IIS.
- HTML - You must be able to edit HTML by hand in a text editor.
- SQL - Many of our web apps use a SQL Server 2005 backend. You must be familiar with SQL DB basics, including queries.
- Javascript
- Perl – We have number of systems and automated tasks written in Perl.
- JS Framework – We use JQuery.
- SVN (or similar version control system)
- Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP - There are plans to migrate to LAMP environment, so knowledge is a plus.
EXPERIENCE - 3 - 5 years experience writing and maintaining web sites in a corporate environment.
- Please list websites you have had a major role in developing.
- Please provide samples of classic ASP code you’ve written and description of functionality.
- Please provide samples of Perl scripting you’ve written and description of functionality.
